It is the modern day perception of that the Confederacy was comprised of a bunch of slave owning, racist, uneducated, hillbilly white boys. The reality of it is this: The Confederacy was comprised of Whites, Hispanics, Indians, Jews, and Blacks. That's right, Blacks were a part of the Confederacy too… and not only, as some of you may assume, in the capacity of slave.

In 1861 the CSA formalized relations with "The Five Tribes" that were settled in what is now the State of Oklahoma. The Five Tribes (Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Creek, and Seminole) were official members of the CSA and were to have Oklahoma as their own sovereign state, with its own Constitution written by them. Additionally, the Indians were to be treated as a Confederate Citizen with the right to purchase, hold, and freely travel the lands of the CSA.

Here is an excerpt from the 1861 CSA Cherokee Treaty:
"The Confederate States of America, having accepted the said protectorate, hereby solemnly promise the said Cherokee Nation never to desert or to abandon it, and that under no circumstances will they permit the Northern States or any other enemy to overcome them and sever the Cherokees from the Confederacy; but that they will, at any cost and all hazards, protect and defend them and maintain unbroken the ties created by identity of interests and institutions, and strengthened and made perpetual by this treaty."

"It is hereby further agreed by the Confederate States that all the members of the Cherokee Nation, as hereinafter defined, shall be henceforward competent to take, hold, and pass, by purchased or descent, lands in any of the Confederate States, heretofore or hereafter acquired by them."

Roughly 65,000 Blacks served as Confederate Soldiers, with Jefferson Davis seeking a goal of enlisting up to 300,000. The Blacks that served were comprised of both slave and free. The free Blacks were paid the same as White soldiers and were entitled to the same benefits, unlike Blacks in the Union army. In fact, Frederick Douglas even commented:

"There are at the present moment many Colored men in the Confederate Army doing duty not only as cooks, servants and laborers, but real soldiers, having musket on their shoulders, and bullets in their pockets, ready to shoot down any loyal troops and do all that soldiers may do to destroy the Federal government and build up that of the rebels."

Furthermore, Frederick Douglas gave a warning to Abraham Lincoln that if he could not capture slaves and then guarantee them freedom and land bounties "they would take up arms for the rebels."

Note: The first military monument in the US Capital to honor a Black soldier is the Confederate Monument in Arlington National Cemetery. The monument also depicts a White soldier giving his child to a Black woman for protection.

The next time someone tells you that the Confederate Flag is a symbol of racism; you can gently remind them of the efforts of Men of all colors, all creeds, and all walks of life that fought under that flag. You can tell them that they fought for liberty and to preserve the Democratic Republic of our forefathers. PALM BEACH, Fla. - President Bush believes America should be more of an idea than an actual place, a Republican congressman told WND in an exclusive interview.

"People have to understand what we're talking about here. The president of the United States is an internationalist," said Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo. "He is going to do what he can to create a place where the idea of America is just that - it's an idea. It's not an actual place defined by borders. I mean this is where this guy is really going."

Tancredo lashed out at the White House's lack of action in securing U.S. borders, and said efforts to merge the U.S. with both Mexico and Canada is not a fantasy.

"I know this is dramatic - or maybe somebody would say overly dramatic - but I'm telling you, that everything I see leads me to believe that this whole idea of the North American Union, it's not something that just is written about by right-wing fringe kooks. It is something in the head of the president of the United States, the president of Mexico, I think the prime minister of Canada buys into it. ...

"And they would just tell you, 'Well, sure, it's a natural thing. It's part of the great globalization ... of the economy.' They assume it's a natural, evolutionary event that's going to occur here. I hope they're wrong and I'm going to try my best to make sure they're wrong. But I'm telling you the tide is great. The tide is moving in their direction. We have to say that."
Tancredo was in South Florida joining the likes of media giants Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Ann Coulter at a four-day event called "Restoration Weekend" which concluded today. The gathering was hosted by the David Horowitz Freedom Center.

He pointed to Florida's largest city as an example of how the nature of America can be changed by uncontrolled immigration.

"Look at what has happened to Miami. It has become a Third World country," he said. "You just pick it up and take it and move it someplace. You would never know you're in the United States of America. You would certainly say you're in a Third World country."

He said quickly changing demographics can cause big problems, and specifically cited the "Islamization of Europe" in recent years which has led to conflict across the continent.
Tancredo isn't the only congressman warning about plans to integrate the three nations of this continent.

Rep. Ron Paul, a maverick Republican from Texas, denounced plans for the proposed "NAFTA superhighway" in his state as part of a larger plot for merger of the U.S., Canada and Mexico into a North American Union.

As WND reported this month, Enrique Berruga, Mexico's ambassador to the United Nations, came right out and said a North American Union is needed - and even provided a deadline.
Berruga said the merger must be complete in the next eight years before the U.S. baby boomer retirement wave hits full force.

Tancredo - a heavyweight champion of the border-security issue, and whose new book on how to solve that vexing problem, titled "In Mortal Danger," became an immediate best seller - just may be elected president, Fox News's Neil Cavuto said recently.

"Illegals coming into America are sure to be front and center in the next presidential election here," Cavuto said on a June broadcast of "Your World with Neil Cavuto," "and Republican Congressman Tom Tancredo certainly knows it. He owns this issue. And straw polls show that, if he were to run for president, he just might well be president."

As if to confirm that Republicans are indeed a fascist rabble, consider their uniform silence in regard to the military commissions bill, otherwise known as the monstrosity that ate the Constitution, specifically Article 1, Section 9, dealing with habeas corpus.

Republicans, who are primarily neocons, that is to say fascist authoritarians, consider themselves patriots, and yet almost to the man and a few women they have not said a word about the evisceration of habeas corpus, once considered such an elemental liberty it was the only one enumerated in the original text of the Constitution.

The elimination of habeas corpus, a bedrock right going back to 1215 and the Magna Carta, did not even as much as merit a passing mention on the Drudge Report, probably one of the most popular Republican web sites on the internet.

Instead, if we are to believe Drudge, Republicans are interested Madonna going to Africa and adopting babies. The sanctimonious Hillary, who voted for killing habeas corpus with nary a blink, wearing a small diamond-studded cross warrants an all caps link, but the death of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights does not. And oh, incidentally, Matt Drudge feels it is important you know the mother of Chris Rock was discriminated against at a Cracker Barrel restaurant in South Carolina. All the insipid and meaningless news fit to print, but not a word about the end of our once cherished republic.

Republicans, and no shortage of Democrats, have sold you and me down the river to a place where we can be abducted, tortured, and killed in secret, no different than the unfortunate desaparecidos of El Salvador. How long before we suffer our own Operation Condor, as did the people of Chile, Argentina and Uruguay? How long before we go through our very own Nacht und Nebel, or Night and Fog?

Lately, a few people have told me I use the Nazi example too much, but what happened today, with the unitary decider signing away our long-standing right to not be held by the state without a day in court is a perfect match for what happened in Nazi Germany after the Reichstag Fire Decree. In fact, the Night and Fog decree is a near perfect example, as the Nazis used it to disappear the political opposition. Hitler and his minions would not be bothered by what they considered unnecessary rules, so they grabbed all who organized to oppose them.

Considering the mindset of the neocons, who have so far slaughtered over 600,000 Iraqis, our disappeared may very well suffer the fate of political dissidents during Argentina's "Dirty War": forced to jump out of airplanes far out over the Atlantic Ocean, but not before enduring torture. Argentina's los desaparecidos were never found, simply disappeared into Night and Fog, and thus, without bodies, the government denied they had been killed. In this way, between 1976 and 1983, up to 30,000 dissidents were liquidated.

"Disappearances work on two levels: not only do they effectively silence those opposition members who have disappeared, they also sow uncertainty and terror in the wider community in general, thus silencing other opposition voices, current and potential alike," explains Wikipedia. If you think the Military Commissions Act of 2006 was crafted strictly for aliens and foreign Muslims, think again. It was devised to go after the opposition in this country, as it presents more of a challenge and threat to the neocon order than a handful of Arabs. As citizens begin disappearing into the night and fog, will Matt Drudge continue posting meaningless articles about Madonna? Matt Drudge and faithful neocon-wannabes of all stripe need to take heed and bone up on a bit of history. Although it will likely irk my readers who believe I use the Nazi example a bit too much here, the example of Hitler's Reichsmordwoche, or Nacht der langen Messer, Night of the Long Knives, should serve.

On the night of June 30 and Sunday July 1, 1934, Hitler ordered potential political rivals in the Sturmabteilung massacred. Stalin had his Great Purge and "river of blood," culminating in the assassination of Trotsky. Invariably, totalitarian and authoritarian regimes, unable to withstand even minor disagreement, take out not only the opposition, but allies who may, however tenuously, become the opposition of tomorrow.

Oh man, HOLD ON FOR YOUR LIVES!!!

This freaky storm is wreaking havoc over all of Florida, people are seeking cover from the mayhem and it is feared that this could be THE END OF THE WORLD.

Ok, folks, get real now, this was noting more than a good storm in reality. I cannot believe how many people got sucked up into the panic that the media spread around just like propaganda.

Just so you know, I don't watch the typical media, I get my news from the internet and I only pick and choose what I want to know and form my own opinion, I so very rarely listen to the local radio, even my weather news I get from the internet, I would rather my own weather reports be wrong from my own interpretation rather than what some idiot with an agenda says on the boob tube, then all I have to blame is myself.

I was surprised Monday morning on my way to work how strange the traffic was and how the lines were backed up at the fuel stations, I really did not know that people were freaking out until I saw it. This whole time I have felt kinda like I was Neo in the Matrix, millions of people, living out their lives, oblivious. It just goes to show you how far we have come in America, that fear can grip us so bad just through the words of the media, I hope that at least some people wake up this morning and realize just how stupid they were for believing and reacting the way they did.

It would not have been so bad if it would not have been built up so much, just simple warnings and telling people THE TRUTH instead of making this out to be the next killer hurricane. Trust me, I have been through several hurricanes, as have many people down here, you would think that in their experience that they would be able to figure out the difference between the nasty ones in the past and this storm now.

So, we should all learn a little lesson here: don't believe everything that the media says, most definitely. We have the examples of the past to tell us that is how evil regimes have controlled the people. Hitler, Lenin, Stalin, present day Communist China, anywhere there is a government control of the people you can see that the media is one of the primary tools utilized to instill fear in the people. If the people are afraid of the government and their many tentacles of control then they can keep their people subdued, divided and under control.

Wake up people, take your freedoms seriously and seek to be independent, start with not allowing the government to scare you. The stakes are very high, and the gallows could be waiting for many of us and our families if we let it get too far.

Jim Bryson Trying to Emulate Sen. Allen in Attacking Counter-Message Team
It appears that TN GOP gubernatorial candidate is trying to follow in the footsteps of Sen. Allen. Instead of using racial slurs, Bryson's staff is using laser pointers into the eyes of the Governor's counter-message team.

The war of words between Democrats and Republicans has escalated to include laser beams and physical confrontation in gubernatorial candidate Jim Bryson's bus tour of East Tennessee, according to somewhat conflicting accounts from campaigners.

Members of Republican Bryson's staff stand accused of directing beams from pocket laser-pointers into the eyes of Democrats who have been following the Bryson bus, making videotapes of the candidate and distributing pamphlets.

And, just like in the Allen case, repugnut operatives are trying to turn the tables and accuse the counter-message team.

Bryson spokesman Lance Frizzell denied that Democratic eyes were targeted by lasers and, in turn, accused the Democratic team of "shoving" a Republican and other "unruly behavior," including "defacing" the bus with Bredesen bumper stickers.
Accusing the accuser, I find to be extremely childish. If you did it, own up to it. Hey, William Pierce, I'm talking to you.

The fact of the matter is, several of the counter-message team's eyes were targeted, and a police report was filed. Then, Humphrey reports that the GOP team states, they will "probably stop using the lasers," after being advised by police of the ramifications of laser pointers.
Shows me that the repugnuts are lying to save their asses and laser pointers were being used.
Pointing a laser beam into someone else's eyes is reprehensible, childish, and dangerous. These staff members should not be retained by a candidate that is serious in holding or retaining an elected office.

As for laser pointers and if they are harmful or not, the FDA has classified laser pointers as being harmful. Lasers are classified according to their degree of hazard from Class 1 to Class 4, Class 4 being the most hazardous. Most laser pointers in the US are Class 2 and Class 3a lasers. The eye's blink reflex (0.25 seconds) is usually enough to protect the eye from damage due to visible lasers, however Class 3a lasers do have the potential to cause damage if viewed directly for greater than 0.25 seconds.

The FDA requires warning labels to be placed on laser pointers including it's classification and instructions telling users to not look directly into the beam. Unfortunately, there are now reports of lasers being imported from China and Russia that are not properly labeled. These lasers are significantly more dangerous and contain a green beam rather than a red one. Before buying a laser pointer, be sure to check that it contains a FDA warning label.

Which brings me back to GOP campaign operations. Yes, there will always be counter-message teams, for both sides. Candidates and their campaign staff expect it, and set up their own. But, what I find horrifying is the emerging trend of GOP candidates and staff resorting to unseemly behavior. When this unseemly behavior is seen by voters, it should not be condoned, but be chalked up to a big, fat check mark in the "con" column of why that candidate is not acceptable to hold an elected office, particularly the higher levels of our state and national governments.

airports under plans for stringent new security measures revealed
yesterday in the wake of last week's alleged terror plot.

Passengers would have their fingerprint or iris scanned under the
measures proposed by EU interior ministers, which would also use
passenger profiling to try to identify potential terrorists.

The move to beef up relaxed security procedures in Europe came as John
Reid, the Home Secretary, warned that human rights would have to be
balanced against the threat from terrorism and that the current terror
threat was Europe-wide and needed to be tackled on an international level.

The EU minister in charge of justice, Franco Frattini, said ministers
were looking at the "positive profiling" of passengers, carried out
well in advance of their flights, based on "biometric identifiers"
such as iris scans or fingerprints.

However, both he and Mr Reid stressed that there were no plans for
profiling based on passengers' ethnic origins. Rather, the profiling
would be drawn from biometric information.

This would actually speed up airport security procedures, he argued.

But the scheme could also pave the way for an EU-wide database,
provoking outrage from privacy rights campaigners last night.

The plan to extend biometric procedures - already enforced in the
United States, Canada and Australia - to European airports was
revealed after an informal meeting of EU interior ministers in London
yesterday.

Other measures agreed include a commitment to stamping out radicalism
by stricter policing of the internet, replacing extremism with a
"European" model of Islam, a 250 million research project into liquid
explosives and a meeting of security services across Europe this month.

The details emerged after ministers from the current Finnish EU
presidency, as well as future EU presidencies Germany, France,
Portugal and Slovenia, were briefed along with Mr Reid and Mr Frattini
yesterday by Dame Eliza Manningham-Buller, the MI5 director general,
and Assistant Commissioner Andy Hayman, the head of special operations
at Scotland Yard.

Responding to the plans, Phil Booth, the national co-ordinator of
NO2ID, a UK campaign group which lobbies against a centralised
biometrics database, said the biometric scheme could not work unless
Europe had the fingerprint of every international terrorist on record.

"If [interior ministers] do not have that, then what they are
proposing is the construction of the largest haystack of all time to
find a few needles," he said.

"This magical thinking about biometrics identifying terrorists is
plainly crazy. What is more worrying is that John Reid is
grandstanding and using an alleged incident to conflate our security
and our freedom."

Mr Booth added that biometrics could also be used for de facto racial
profiling of passengers: "Because it is a measure of the body,
biometrics will often identify people's ethnic origin."

Other proposals revealed by Mr Frattini included the training of imams
at EU level after concerns that extremists were taking over mosques,
while radicalisation across schools and prisons would also come under
closer scrutiny.

"We do want a European Islam and that is very important not only to
show to the Muslim communities that we fully respect other religions
... but we also want [them to] respect national laws, European laws
and fundamental rights - first of all the right to life," he said.

The bloc will look into a suggestion by Nicolas Sarkozy, the French
interior minister, to set up counter-terrorism expert teams at EU
level ready to help countries if needed, he said.

Meanwhile, a separate 250 million fund was announced to help to
research and detect liquid explosives.

Mr Frattini said that he would make proposals in coming days on the
detection of explosives.

Yesterday, Mr Reid said Europe would not allow terrorists to undermine
the "common European values that bind our societies together".

The proponents of terror "would abuse our open societies, would misuse
our freedoms and adapt the latest technology to their evil intent and
have no regard for human life or for human rights".

"As we face the threat of mass murder, we have to accept that the
rights of the individual that we enjoy must, and will be, balanced
with the collective right of security and the protection of life and
limb that our citizens demand," he added.

Meanwhile, a YouGov poll out today reveals that more than half of
people in the UK questioned wanted a "more aggressive" foreign policy.
And 55 per cent supported passenger profiling at airports.

V for Vendetta

So, I watched it for the second time last night, first time was opening night in the theater this spring. Honestly, it is not my absolute favorite movie of all time but it is pretty high up there, but the most important aspect of it is how well true fascism is portrayed in the film. The cause and fight for freedom and the reactions of the people is so amazing to see portrayed, and it makes me think about our conditions here in the US today.

You probably know me enough by now to understand that I believe the U.S. Government is on a fast nose-dive to collapse and structural failure. Watching V for Vendetta helps to solidify that in my mind as well, but one thing that it makes me reconsider is how soon. When looking at that depiction, albeit fiction, it shows conditions far worse than we currently have here in the U.S. at this time, and I can only wonder how much more people will take before they feel the need to get up off their asses and do something about it.

V does very well to tell the people that their problem is them, that they are the ones that should be in control and that actually it is not so much the government that the people are afraid of, it is fear of fear.

This concept is something that the Founding Fathers understood very well, they wrote documents, passed laws and started a nation in spite of potential fears of a mighty government. And knowing all that they had to go through they also understood what powers to restrict from the government and give to the people so that the government does not get so large that the people begin to fear it. It is though the cleverly designed plan of evil people, of a similar ilk to those fictional characters in V for Vendetta and other real historical well-known tyrants such as Adolf Hitler, Benito Moussolini, Sadam Hussien and others, that have given way to what we have in America today.

Americans need to wake up!!! This is happening to us, look at this movie, understanding that it is through small steps in the wrong direction that you realize in 30 years that you are living in a box shaking with fear because you have been conditioned to do so. In reality, we don't have that long because we have been going down that path for much longer, just that the culmination of these things has been stalled due to the hard work of some people, but the fact still remains: we must get serious about getting educated on what is really going on here and then to get active against it. We do still have some powers left, but if we do not exercise them now we will have lost a great opportunity and we will be headed down a long, dark road that will be hard to come out of.

Independence Day 2007

Well, it has been a while since I have posted on here, what a time the past few months have been. Yesterday was no exception, though not necessarily better than last year, it was definitely more physically challenging. I am beat; cuts, abrasions, and a broken toe from soccer on the beach, barnacle cuts from saving the volleyball from the canal, sunburn. Oh yeah, we had fun.

Besides all that though it comes to mind the reason we celebrate July 4th. During all the festivities, food, family, fireworks and fun, not to mention any other normal daily activity, we often neglect to recognize the fact that we have had hundreds of thousands of Americans who have given their lives to gain and maintain our liberty and freedom. That we in our continuation of our present condition have become complacent and lazy, taking for granted their sacrifices for us to have the right to self-governance. The large majority of Americans have no clue in their mind as to what that means, to determine for one's self the right to do not just what the desire, but ultimately to do what they know is right for them, not just for them, but for society as a whole. We are so accustomed to having someone else have that responsibility over us that we have shifted from being voluntarily restricted to now being held in bondage. No you cannot do this or that because it is "un-safe". What the heck!?! If I want to do something that will more than likely only hurt myself then why can't I? Even if what I do have the potential of causing harm to another in an accident, who is to say that I cannot do it? Who knows, eventually we might not even be allowed to drive vehicles around due to it being "un-safe".

I realize these thoughts are scary to most people. Too many Americans have become gutless sheep, willing to follow and be herded wherever some power decides they should go. I acknowledge the fact that we must have laws, we need to have a premise of punishing someone for doing something blatantly wrong, but for example, what is wrong with not buckling one's seat belt for peat's sake? We require structure and order or else all we get is chaos, but our government has gone way too far. Who are they to say that I, or any other law abiding citizen cannot carry a gun to protect ourselves or others? Why do they only have that right?

I can tell you this, they are afraid of us, they know the reason why our Founding Fathers gave us people such rights, it was to restrain and keep the government in check! A man who would beat his gun into a plow will plow for those who do not.

Read what Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Patrick Henry had to say about government. What was the roll it played in the lives of the citizens? Of the States? In a simple review of their comments and ideals you will find that what we have today is completely out of the bounds of the Constitution. Most Americans today would not know what to do with the freedoms that our ancestors enjoyed before us. If they were here today they would be ranting and raving about the injustice and miss-use of alleged power but the government and would most likely be starting another war of independence from the oppressor. The situation is that dire, and honestly is a long time in coming. We must get off of our lazy hind quarters and get to work, dismantling this government and tearing it back down to the size it should be according to the Constitution.
F.Y.I. folks, the Bill of Rights is not addressed to the people, but rather to the government, it is a statement of restraint against the government indicating clearly the bounds where the government shall not pass. Look through it, check it out, and decide for yourself how many violations the government has made. You will find many, hopefully enough to make you mad about what you have lost, and maybe it might just make you realize that you need to do something about it. The time is now here, we either do something or continue to do nothing, in the latter case it will only be a little while longer before we are under complete control and the term Liberty and Justice for all will definitely be a thing of the past. I pray that we do not let this happen, we cannot, we must not let it happen!

Confederate History Month

On a good note for today and the rest of this month, this is the time set aside to remember those brave Confederate heroes who, being no more men and women than you and I, took the next step to simply defend their homes, land and way of life from an oppressive central government takeover.

Though some would say they failed, they kept alive the cause of freedom, their sacrifices will not be in vain if we look to them for encouragement to stand up to the same oppression and take a stand for freedom. We will honor them by living selflessly and working daily to restore a moral and free standard of living for ourselves and our future.

We must do it no matter what, for if we fail, at least we will not be guilty of the worst kind of dishonor, that being the act of disregarding a selfless sacrifice, counting it as worthless and taking it for granted. We owe our Confederate Ancestors a great deal of gratitude, if it were not for them taking a stand against the cruel and tyranical leaders of their time there is no telling how much worse off we would be today!

It only goes to show how important it is to just take a stand for what is right. We should learn from the past and work every day for our God-given rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness; our freedom!

Pending problems

Looking around today at our nation and it's government things are looking more and more problematic. I am not one to worry about every little thing, getting overly anxious and "freaked out" is not in my character, but from my cool-headed logic I can see that we have some serious issues. I feel that we are coming upon a difficult struggle, one of physical strife that will test the character of every American and put to test everything we think is great and free about our country.
We have millions of illegal immigrants that are flooding across our borders, breaking down our culture and completely bankrupting our governments. These people have no care for our customs, laws and ways of living, no sense of the way our political system is to operate, and yet many of them will end up voting in some election this year. This is an extremely destructive act and has been and will continue to eat out the inner workings of our political system like a cancer.
With all of these things in mind we have to wonder, why the heck is the U.S. Government seems to care less about this ever growing problem?!? I have to wonder from all that I know of the corruption and illegal activity engaged in by many if not most of our politicians, that this may be a planned and anticipated uproar, a disruption on such a level that through the impending chaos that they will seek to further tighten the grasp upon the rest of our supposed “freedom” all in the name of our safety and the protection of the government?
I ask you, are you afraid of your government? Does it seem right that we should always be cautious of doing something wrong that causes the FED’s to come and “get us”? We have seen the movies, both of fiction and history in which people were afraid of their governments. Door knocks in the middle of the night, the black-masked Gestapo-type police bursting in brazen with guns and an intent to harm everyone into compliance, pack you up and take you to who knows where.
Does this sound like something that we should allow to happen in our country? Or do you think that there is no way that this will ever happen to you? Do not be so quick to think that we are immune from such terrorism, we are headed down the same road as so many totalitarian regimes have taken to reach their powerful and terrible control.

Wake up and look at what is happening people, this is serious, this is not a drill. If not you may as well just keep sitting in front of your T.V. with your beer until they come to unplug it. What will you do then? Who will you complain when they take away your superfluous entertainment?

So much has been happening, too much to keep up with this blog. The campaign is picking up more and more every day. New events being scheduled. Bumper stickers are ready for the printer, yard signs to follow soon.
The Republican Party of Tennessee is really playing dirty, they will not recognize Carl as a "legitimate" Republican candidate. I say what does it take to be a "legitimate" Republican?!?

What they are really trying to say is that they do not trust Carl to play by the "rules" of the leadership of the Republican Party of Tennessee. As if it was only about them! What ever happened to "the people"? What about their voice? If Carl wants to run as a Republican let him do it, and if the leadership does not like it then they can stick it, because it is supposed to be about what the people want. If Carl can win it, no matter what party he is in then it really has nothing to do with the selfish, power hungry leadership of the party. If the party leaders want to control the government, then they themselves should run. Don't be a stinker to the majority of us who wish to have Carl as our next Governor of Tennessee!

Carl is a fine gentleman and not one of the common "politicians" nor lock-step Republicans. He is a statesman and will work for the best of our State of Tennessee, rather than benefit his friends, family and self, as Phil Bredesen so graciously has.

It is time to change Tennessee, to rid our State of the Federalist systems that are bankrupting our state and encouraging entitlement, people dependent upon the systems, who, becoming so used to the "easy hand-outs" that they are not willing to contribute to the economy and work. Also, we need to get serious about our illegal immigrant problem, to punish employers who use illegals, and also to just send them back to where they came from, no questions.
I do know that a State Sales Tax will be out of the question with Carl Whitaker, I cannot say the same for our current governor, Phil Bredesen, no matter what he 'says', I cannot trust a liar.

Carl Whitaker for Tennessee Governor 2006

Hello readers, I just met a gentleman this past weekend whom I spoke extensively with on the phone, who is running for Governor of Tennessee this next election year. His name is Carl Two Feathers Whitaker. He ran in the last gubernatorial race back in 2002 against Phil Bredesen (our current governor) and Van Hillary, coming in at a noteworthy fourth, which is pretty good in this state seeing that he ran as an independent. This year he is going to try to take the Republican, as unpopular a choice that may be to many Southerners and Confederates. But I endorse him in this move as it is a sure way to have a very good run at it. Our current Democrat Governor has seen his ratings plummet since his unfair dealings with people on TennCare and a recent potential misuse of power benefiting friends/fellow government officials. I hear there may be more to the famed "Tennessee Waltz" that we have yet to learn about, but we will see if there is not more to come out of that. Needless to say this is not showing good for Democrats and could work in favor of a primary Republican Candidate. I am going to be posting more on this in the future, to keep everyone up to date, also I am doing the campaign website for Mr. Whitaker and will post that here as soon as it is complete.

Was it really about Slavery?

I was reading some more good Confederate literature, from the book "The Real Lincoln" by Thomas J. DiLorenzo and an interesting point was made that I wish every American would consider. The fact that the Republican Party of 1860 ran not on the Abolition of Slavery, but rather on the platform of a larger, more centralized Federal Government. Lincoln stated clearly in his inaugural address:

"I have no purpose, directly or indirectly, to interfere with the institution of slavery in the States where it exists. I believe I have no lawful right to do so, and I have no inclination to do so."

Also, Horace Greeley, editor of the New York Tribune and a staunch Republican stated the Republican Party's stance as follows:

"All the unoccupied territory......shall be preserved for the benefit of the white Caucasian race -- a thing which cannot be except by the exclusion of slavery."

With that understood I make this point: Although it may be that the deep South states might have seceded from the union because of slavery, the upper South States; Arkansas, Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia, Kentucky, Missouri -- did not. They remained loyal to the union and only seceded after the war-hungry Lincoln declared war on their Southern neighbors. It would seem that Lincoln did not have a problem with these slave states remaining in the union, and they may very likly have remained there if the Federal Government had not overstepped it's Constitutional bounds. One will very well have to question the motive of Lincoln and his followers for blatantly, and unprovoked, attacking the South, if in this example we see that it was not about slavery.

Think about this, if the South did not wish the Federal Government to dictate what they were to do with their slaves, what other things would the Northern States not have wanted Lincoln to dictate upon them?

Well I did some reviews on the political test I posted earlier and I have to say that it is quite inaccurate, dare I say rigged. So I went about the ISH and found a better political test called the "Political Compass". Give this one a try, it is more extensive and I believe, more accurate. My score graph is shown below.

Who's Fault?

So Bill Bennett made a comment today:

"But I do know that it's true that if you wanted to reduce crime, you could, if that were your sole purpose, you could abort every black baby in this country, and your crime rate would go down,...."
"....an impossible, ridiculous and morally reprehensible thing to do, but your crime rate would go down. So these far-out, these far-reaching, extensive extrapolations are, I think, tricky."

This is a rather harsh way of making a point, and not one that I would even dream of using, but the point that he was trying to make in a round-about way was to say that statistically speaking, black people compose a large portion of criminals in America today. It is difficult to judge the situation when we do not have the context. Nevertheless, I have my ideas as to why this is the case and I will comment on that later, but I wanted to point out a fact about Bennett's statement. His' making a connection between abortion and black Americans is not an original idea. It was the very point that the founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, made on another way to "take care" of the blacks in America. This is the plain and tragic truth about the ideas of people from the Northeast and Northern Midwest back in the mid-1800's until the 1970's or so. It is the effects of the teachings of Evolution, which is the religion of Marxism (Socialism, Communism) and Fascism.

Evolution teaches that all humans evolved from apes (a lie) and that black people are considered less evolved, thus, less human than white people. This automatically makes white people supreme above black people and is degrading.
Another point about the rise in crime in all aspects of life is directly related to the exclusive teaching (brainwashing) of Evolution in the Federal Screwals (schools). If you reduce a person to being nothing more than an accident, you destroy all sense of self-worth, and then if you tell them to just go with what 'feels good' they will do just that with no reserve. If there is no moral basis there is not law, and the tool of both the Marxists and Socialists, they created the conditions for all people to have hatred for another person, for any reason, be it race, age, sex, whatever.

If you desire to find out why our society has degraded to the point we are at now, I suggest you take some time to find some true history about our past, the Marxist Revolution that began in the 1840's, how it has had such an impact on the world, in a very cruel way. Also the love affair many American leaders had with Fascism back in the 1930's - 1940's, you cannot tell me that there are not lasting effects on this nation from all the philandering the U.S. Government has engaged in in the past 160 years or so.

I will be posting more on this in the future, and I also hope to bring out a list of "American Bad Guys" that will probably be quite disturbing but non-the-less true.
It is still true: those who do not know their history, are doomed to repeat it.

Two Parties.....

So, Republican or Democrat, what is the real difference? Of course we all know the typical things that define and divide the parties like:
Generally Democrats prefer: more taxes, more agencies, more spending, more restrictive laws, more central power, they are for Homosexual marriage, abortion, gun control and removal of God from public life.
Generally Republicans prefer: not raising taxes, less spending, restricting abortion, balancing the budget.

That said and you may be able to think of a few more differences between the parties but what I want to point out is that there are much deeper core beliefs of these two parties that, if taken to the fullest extent, will turn the U.S. into a Police State and into a complete Monarchial Dictatorship. I give you as reference the Geopolitical Wheel which I will use to point out where these parties really stand.

If you would observe, there are two "wings" to the wheel. You honestly have a "Left Wing" and a "Right Wing", at the base you have complete individual freedom while as you progress upward on either side you move towards less individual freedom.
Now that this is in your mind you will be able to start to imagine where we (the U.S.) are on this wheel. Well because we have two different parties "running" pretty much everything, I will leave the definite outcome to your opinion. Basically though knowing how our government currently runs, all the laws, regulations, taxes, agencies, etc. that are in place, we can place ourselves somewhere around the 5th box up on both sides. I say on both sides because it all depends on who is more in control, the left wing or right wing. We know that either side is pushing ever closer to the next level just by the continual pressure to advance one side over the other. We see how corporate America is gaining more and more power in who is elected and that is a move towards Fascism. Also we know of all the connections that many of the Left Wing Liberals have with Communism, especially John Kerry, Hillary Clinton and others. Their ideas of higher taxes, more Socialist programs, etc. are pushing us ever closer to the next tier towards Communism.

Just some food for thought, I want everyone to be alert and know that everything is not as it appears to be.

Liberalism is.....

Well, now I am on to the task of customizing this blog. But that may be more information than you care to read about here.
Anyway, a couple days ago Rush Limbaugh (whom I agree with about 85% of the time, he has some historical facts mixed up regarding the War Between the States and the Confederacy) and he came up with a good t-shirt idea, it was derived from a statement made by a Liberal at a press conference regarding the poor, corrupt, mis-leadership in New Orleans before and after Katrina, the reporter asked a great question to the effect of; if we are using the buses now to evacuate people out of the city for Rita why could that not have been done for Katrina? This Liberal's response was; "You are stuck on Stupid!" haint that great. So L. Rushbaugh's play on that statement was; "Liberalism is Stuck on Stupid!" hehe, priceless.

Well, as web savvy as I am this is my first blog. Why only just now? Well there are several reasons, but primarily I think it is because I can be quite busy with work in my day job that I cannot think to write much at the end of the day, seems too much like work. But I thought I should give it a try on my homepage and see how it goes. Especially as politically opinionated as I am I thought it would be a good addition to my writings to have a commentary blog. I already have put out a semi-regular e-newsletter "Federation Think Point" and this would be a good test to see how it would go and how I would like it to work. Comments please.
